JXN Spotlight: Austin “Brik a Brak” Lee & Bocca Pizzeria

This time around we talk to a friend of ours who also is the Director of Culinary Operations Bocca Pizzeria, Austin Lee. In addition to that, he’s also spent the past decade as a notable DJ named Brik a Brak. You know what they say, nothing goes together like pizza and hip-hop. We test that theory with one of our longest spotlights to-date. Bocca is a new high-end pizzeria in Cultivation Hall part of The District at Eastover. Yes, it’s as fancy as it sounds. Bocca is the by-product of Lee’s experince as both a Chef and Service Industry Expert. This interview goes all over the place, from prosciutto to duck liver patte to Bone Thugs and Harmony, nothing is off limits. We’ve been waiting to do this one for a while, and it shows. Enjoy!
