Local Spotlight: Empty Atlas

Reality Breached Local Spotlight: Empty Atlas

I’ve been looking forward to this spotlight for quite some time. Micah Smith, the lead singer and songwriter of local band Empty Atlas, has built a following on lyrically driven, charming, alt-rock. Their debut album, Hestia, is a passionate mixture of Goo Goo Dolls and Dashboard Confessional filtered through the pure tones of Smith’s buttery vocals. Despite their influences, Empty Atlas has a sound that is more distinct than any regional band has any business being. Micah sat and chatted with us about Empty Atlas, his life, his passions and of all things…Infinity War. I can’t wait for you to hear this distinctly Rebre-ish episode of the Local Spotlight. It’s great to interview someone of which I am a genuine fan.

Make sure to check out Empty Atlas’ album Hestia on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, or Amazon Music.
