Green Day: Rock Band, Confirmed

Kotaku is reporting that Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has confirmed that Green Day is next up for a Rock Band iteration. It wasn’t a huge announcement, as Billie only mentioned it on KROQ’s Kevin and Bean’s Breakfast show. So, we really don’t know much more than it’s existence.

It could be a track pack, it could be a full game, it could just be DLC. Whatever it ends up being it’s exciting news to Green Day fans who have haven’t had any GD tunes to play in any Rock Band or Guitar Hero game. The biggest questions to me are what songs, and will it carry a Parental Advisory Logo and/or an M rating?  Hmmmm, we will see.
